Classic Keto Egg Salad

Classic egg salad with a twist makes this the perfect Keto meal. This recipe calls for avocados and eggs, which are both delicious, nutritious and foods that easily fit into your macros.

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 Tbs Butter
  • 1 Med. Avocado optional
  • 1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tsp Dijon Mustard
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tsp. dried Dill optional
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • Cover the eggs with water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn the heat off, cover and rest in hot water for 10-15 minutes. (more or less based on preference)
  • Run under cold water and peel shells
  • Chop the eggs into small pieces, sprinkle with salt and pepper, set aside
  • In a medium bowl, mix mayo, butter, eggs, mashed avocado (optional), mustard, lemon juice and choice of herbs (dill works wonderfully!)
  • Chill for 30 mins to 1 hr. and serve
